Raising awareness of mobility together

Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar’s Employer Approach (Werkgeversaanpak) maps the travel behaviour of our affiliated partners’ employees and advises employers on the sustainability improvements they could take. We put together a set of targeted measures and help you to implement them.

While one member joined because of a parking problem or inefficient use of the shared vehicles, another wanted to raise awareness of vitality within their organization, and yet another joined simply because they wanted to set an example for other companies. The reasons for becoming a member of Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar are different for every employer, but the common denominator is that all of our partners want to improve their sustainable mobility.

Mobility scan as a starting point

We offer our partners a mobility scan. This analysis helps us to establish current travel behaviours and show the number of employees who could truly benefit from the alternatives to commuting by car during peak hours. We also perform an analysis of employment conditions, supported by an analysis of mobility costs. To get a good picture, we use a benchmark overview to compare employment conditions at your company with the other affiliated employers.

Introductory interview

During an introductory meeting in person, we’ll sit down with you to establish whether Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar can add value to your organization. What are your organization's objectives? Do your travel allowance and business hours encourage people to travel sustainably? What is your parking policy? And can employees work remotely? After the interview, you'll know whether we can be a valuable partner for you. Upon payment of a ‘symbolic’ contribution of €10 per employee, you'll have unlimited access to our products and services. The maximum annual contribution is €5.000.
