Mobility on the map

Employment conditions and more

Range of mobility solutions

More employees are looking to commute smart and sustainably. In order to achieve this, Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar first establishes employees’ current commuting behaviour. Based on this, we produce a plan of action that we implement together with you. We then analyse the results.

Mobility scan

How do your employees commute? And what alternatives are reasonably available? Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar offers its partners a free mobility scan. This analysis helps us to establish people's current travel behaviours and show the number of employees who could truly benefit from alternatives to commuting by car.

Rolling out new mobility scans

Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar has developed a new mobility scan. The analyses are commencing at a number of employers in the first group. The aim of the mobility scan is to identify how employees currently travel to work and where there are opportunities to travel to work in a smarter and more sustainable way.

Such new scans will be carried out for all new employers as well as for employers whose scan was carried out more than four years ago.

The new scan goes beyond evaluating travel by bicycle, e-bike, or public transport. We now also include both chain transport, including combinations of travelling by bicycle and public transport, and the high-speed e-bikes. You can also request a custom scan. An example of a custom scan could be a single analysis for all locations combined with a specific analysis per location. Additionally, we can compare a number of scenarios.

Finally, the new mobility scan includes the option to compare the employment conditions with benchmarks of the other employers and what certain choices can yield for the employer in terms of reducing the need for parking spaces, improving the vitality of employees and a possible CO2 reduction.

Employment conditions scan

If you want your company to become eco-friendlier but your employment conditions are holding you back, we can also perform an ‘employment conditions scan’. This is supported by an analysis of mobility costs. To get a good picture, we use a benchmark overview to compare employment conditions at your company with the other affiliated employers.

Flexible working scan

By completing a questionnaire about flexible working, you'll make the first step towards implementing specific measures that encourage flexible working at your organization.

Flexible working helps to:

  • reduce the number of cars on the road
  • boost productivity
  • reduce sickness absence
  • improve employee satisfaction
  • create more attractive employment practices

Want to know how flexible working can add value to your organization? Simply fill in the flexible working scan and see whether your organization is ready for flexible working. Alongside useful tips and advice, we provide specific support when implementing or further developing flexible working at your organization.

Vitality Scan

We don't exercise enough in South Limburg. Do your company's employees get enough exercise? And how ‘healthy’ is your company policy? Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar's health check has three steps:

  • Self-evaluation
  • Expert opinion | Document review
  • Interviews

This tool gives employers insight into opportunities and possibilities to optimize employee health and well-being, increase work productivity, reduce absenteeism, and improve employee satisfaction.

Do the insights give reason to take action? Through ‘Ontdek de e-bike’ (‘Discover the e-bike’), ‘Ontdek het OV’ (‘Discover public transport’), and ‘Flexibel werken’ (‘Flexible working’), we encourage employees to take a more active approach to commuting. Active to work, fit at work

Annual impact assessment

Each year, we invite all partners to have their employees fill in a survey on sustainable mobility. This impact measurement helps us to evaluate the campaigns, products, and services we organized. The survey asks employees questions such as: Have you travelled smarter? Are you contributing to a better environment and improved personal health and well-being? Each company receives a personal infographic showing the results.
